Millennium Sacco 2012 hosted its annual end-of-year staff party on 6th, December, 2025 at Hotel Triangle in Mbarara, bringing together staff from all branches and members of the Board of Directors to celebrate another year of remarkable performance, institutional growth and strengthened teamwork.
The event, filled with joy, thanksgiving, and reflection, highlighted the Sacco’s continued upward trajectory and celebrated the people behind its success.
Speaking at the event, the General Manager Mr Ronald Abaho reported positive growth across all key performance indicators as shown below;

He also highlighted on the expansion of the Sacco in terms of branch network there by mentioning the opening of Kamwenge Branch and four outreach offices in Rubindi, Rwanstinga, Kasheshe, and Kitwe in Ntungamo district, bringing the total number of branches to nine (9) and six (6) Outreach offices. He added that so far Millennium Sacco 2012 employs one hundred and eighteen (118) people. All this further affirms that Millennium Sacco 2012 remains on a stable and upward growth curve.
The Chairman BOD Mr. Fred Muhumuza began his remarks by introducing the present BOD members and then proceeded to acknowledge the vision and dedication of the Founder Patron, The Rt.Rev.Assoc.Prof Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa and thanked him for his continuous effort to market Millennium Sacco 2012. He noted that it’s because of him that many individuals and communities have joined and benefited from the services of the Sacco.
He went ahead to commend the staff for their dedication, hard work, and resilience throughout the year, promised improved staff welfare and motivation and announced further expansion to Hoima City in the coming year.
The event was also graced by the Founder Patron, The Rt. Rev. Assoc. Prof. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa who praised the Sacco’s impressive performance and encouraged staff to remain patient and committed as the institution continues to grow. He was very keen on loyalty, contentment and integrity. He further urged the staff to not easily be swayed but rather be diligent and faithful at their work. He congratulated Kamwenge Branch for maintaining 0% PAR (Portfolio AT Risk) and ended by leading a heartfelt spiritual session and prayed for an even better and successful coming year.
The celebration didn’t end without awarding outstanding performance of staff and branches. Awards were given to staff and branches under different categories which included; Highest loans dibursed, Highest amount disbursed, Best P&L, Growth in savings and shares, Customer Retention, Portfolio growth, Best Operations Officer, Best Customer Service Officer, Best Teller and of course Employee of the year. The winners were presented with awards and gifted shopping vouchers. This sparked excitement and gratitude amongst staff members and many were encouraged to continue working hard.
The evening ended in pure celebration which included gift sharing, music, laughter, dancing, and games, reminding everyone that Millennium Sacco 2012 is not just a workplace but a family united by a common vision, mission and purpose.
As the Sacco prepares for a new year, it remains committed to its objective of Improving people’s livelihoods by offering affordable loans at competitive rates and having a good savings culture and its mission of empowering communities with customized quality products and services.
