Our Background
Millennium Sacco 2012 Ltd was established on 13/12/2012 under the name Ankole Diocese Millennium SACCO. The main objective was to improve people’s livelihoods by offering affordable loans at competitive rates and having a good savings culture in our society. This was spearheaded by the Rt. Rev. Assoc. Prof. Fred Sheldon & the Diocesan team. In 2021, the Sacco rebranded from Ankole Diocese Millennium Sacco to Millennium Sacco 2012 Ltd to promote inclusivity. The change was aimed at creating a more welcoming and neutral identity that embraces people from all walks of life, institutions, and communities, while maintaining the Sacco’s strong values and heritage.
